What a bummer...Wed night I left the Magnum in the front of the drive because the wife had the garage blocked with the van. Took my little electric car and went to the club house to play poker and it rained sooo hard for about 2.5 hours Well now she will not show any power when the key is turned on. Battery is over 12.5 volts and the fuse is good that is all I have checked as of yet as I am still taking it easy.... I Willl get around to putting the meter on her to follow the flow to the source in a few days but damn....If I were feeling right I would had moved the car and parked her in with the Honda Mike

BUMMER MIKE, remember the Girl on here called Straightbangin, she left her scoot out in the RAIN she also lives in Florida and it would not start(HEHE). She had to leave it out in the hot sun to dry off and then it started. So just leave it out in the HOT sun and hopefully it will start for you. Alleyoop

Is your battery under the floor mat in the compartment like mine is? I had to seal that up because it will fillip with water and short the battery out when it rains like that. Also, I drilled a hole in the bottom of it to so water could drain out if any gets in.

No, the battery is under the seat. The only electrical that got wet was the on the handle bars, kill switch, light swithes, starter button and horn. trike was just setting so nothing, any plugs or wireing got wet other than things mounted on the high risers. I will give it anther day or two than take the meter to it and follow the flow from battery. Just not ready health wise yet to get around to do it.

And Mikey...this is why I carry 2 super large trash bags and some duct tape. Then we got a new washing machine and it came with a plastic bag that just happened to fit over the trike...so now I carry that too. It will dry out, however your problem is in the starter wiring switch it grounds out easily when wet. vr, Lee
