I found a view videos on youtube, but it doesn't seem anyone is very happy with them. It's a nice looking bike though, tons of people trash chinese stuff though and mine has been very good. I've my 150 for 2 years now and 27,000 miles and its had a few issues over that time but nothing major.

Wouldn't it be cool to get a big group of riders together and do the dragon on Chinese scoots?
I would totally ride up and do it with everyone. I've done the dragon several times over the past few years and its lots of fun.

Actually the green one is a Current Motors Electric scooter, but I see what you mean now they must have used a Chinese body. www.currentmotor.com/Check out thier website, its pretty neat machine but the range is to short for my needs.

My Chinese scooter is the outcast in the group, but so far lasting just as long as the vespa's and stella's =-) Here's a ride video I made on the way there, going through Kennesaw Mtn battle field and the historic homes district of Marietta, GA

Great pictures Bashan! Your scooters look good. Just curious as to why your scooter was taken apart in the picture?

3 or 4 years ago I found an English web site where a fellow had a similar type scooter that was an antique and was restoring it. So the idea isn't new or anything. I can not think of the name of the scooter, it must have been what the chinese copied to build yours. It does have several advantages especially for an area prone to lots of rain! In a light rain you could ride 10 miles and get there dry as a bone. john I know the Honda Gyro started this trend many years ago, and there have been several other models to, like the BMW C1 and the Benelli Adiva both were 150's also. The Automoto is the only 3 wheeled one I know of though. Thing is awesome in the rain and extreme cold to.

I've ridden my 150 230 miles in a day several times now without any issues. Even in the heat of summer, I stayed around 45 most of the way on state highways unless traffic was shoving me along faster than that. Mine has almost 28,000 miles on it now and is still running good. Don't be afraid to ride it but do be reasonable on speed and certainly carry some spare parts / tools. Check the oil after every gas stop.

Finally found the answer! Guess a bump in the road must have seated the bulb or something

VCD=VIGILANCE CONTROL DEVICE LMAO!!! I can't stop laughing!!! This bike has so many weird things about it I swear. Automoto finally answered my email this morning and the light is part of the stereo system, specifically the MP3 connection. He said there maybe a problem with the system though I don't use it much so I wouldn't have noticed. I'll test it today and make sure the radio is working correctly. The poorly translated Chinese to English owners manual is seldom alot of help on this beast!

Does anyone know what the VCD light means? Does anyone know why the light on the far right of the dashboard labeled "VCD" would start blinking after riding for 10+ miles? I don't even know what the light means and can't find any reference to it in my owners manual or online documentation. I am worried because it started happening ever since my spark plug boot failed a few days back and I hope its not indicating some other problem I am riding around with. The bike is running fine and feels normal so hopefully nothing serious?

Just recently made another video going through some country roads on it, in the rain of course. It never stops raining here in Atlanta anymore. Starting to feel like Seattle here
