Thanks for the information sprocket, this is exactly what I am looking for. A lawn mower fuel filter should be ok right? I will order a new petcock from scrappy dogs and replace that as well.

How often should I worry about changing the fuel filter? It still looks clean (its clear so I can see through it) but was just wondering.

So according to my Chinese owners manual I am now due for another gear oil change, CVT belt replacement, oil change. What other items should I inspect at this mileage. I read about the valve inspection / adjustment which it seems i am way overdue for. I basically haven't done anything to this bike except oil changes every 1000 miles as it mentions in the book, I did the gear oil at 600 miles like it said, and now its due again at 5000 miles with the belt. I haven't had any problems yet from it, my rear tire is showing some wear, front looks good still. Just curious for your thoughts? I am going to check and adjust the valves tonight while doing the other maintenance items. I have the belt already that I got from dealership I bought the bike from. He offered to do this service for me for 295.00 LMAO!!!! I said no thanks. They have been nice though and gave me a 6 month warranty even though I never used it. I've had the bike now about 9 months total and enjoyed every minute of it.

Here are two cool pictures from my weekly meetup with the Greater Atlanta Scooter Society. No worries, my Chinese bike looks just as good as the rest of them

Thanks Bashan! I have an Midland XTC200 with a helmet side mount. It works real great and gets very little vibration compared to my handlebar mount. I will try to make some more videos when I get back up to Fort Mountain State Park.

Just wanted to share these pics and this video I made while out riding yesterday. I started in Redtop Mountain state park which is my favorite place to ride and then went north into the mountains. Here is a link to my video.

Yes - I wish the bigger numbers were MPH instead, but the odometer is infact in Miles not KM's.
It's usually within 1 mile of accuracy on my 30 mile ride to work to. My TomTom shows it as 30.7 miles and the scoot will log 29.8

I am not sure what schaeffer oil is, so I'll have to google it and see where its sold. I've been running Rotella 15w-40 in it since new and haven't had any problems yet. It handles real well and rides really nice in the rain to having such small tires. I take the trunk off quite a bit and haul my bicycle on the back of it to work and ride on the trails we have here during lunch. and short of my bike being sorta wide, it handles that just fine. I have a quick front wheel that I remove and secure on the middle of the bicycle during transport so its not as wide. I didn't think I would like this scooter when I bought it, but the more i have it the more I love it. It's a hard working little machine really when you think of all it can do with only 150cc's

Not sure if this will help you, but my 2011 bike came with a printout of the entire electrical system. I can scan and post if you like?

BTW.... how long should I expect this bike to last, the guy at Bartow Powersports where I purchased it said the engine life if I changed the oil on time should be 45,000 to 50,000 miles and that seemed like a great deal for 1200.00 bucks. It came with a 6 month warranty that I never had to use, I've had it 9 months now total and it still starts / runs perfect
