yea Alley it was prety warm before i ventted it going out today for a ride and see if it helps on it with it being enclosed it sure was holding in the heat didnt drill anywhere towards the front of the cover thought it may hinder the airflow thru the case?? well its a learning curve or trial and error alot of times doing mods

i have some here at my store that are vented only drawback i have heard from customers is when it rains the clutch slips.

i'm not a U boat commander LOL and we dont get enough rain here in the desert so slipping shouldnt be a prob. just wish we werent having 30 MPH wind gusts today i want to ride GRR!!! THANKS FOR THE INPUT GANG!! Be safe.. and UPDATE took it out today considerably cooler than stock !

if people drive their scoots into water deep enough to make the clutch slip need to think about sealing off the engine really good and running the air filter up the side of the bike, maybe to the top of the handle bars, that way with the snorkel intake they can use their scooter as a jet ski, besides, who would get a scooter just to ride on the road? sheesh...

so far no dirts entered it plus i ride on the street not on dirt roads and i took it out for a 25 mile ride yesterday temp was about 60 here and it was warm to the touch not blazing hot like before and i pull the cover at least once a month and blow it out have a good Easter terry

Nope. i take the CVT cover off at least once a month and inspect/clean it out usually not too dirty. its dusty here where i live at plus i'm pretty "anal" about maintence and the holes i drilled were with a 7/8 hole saw (take the cover off to drill it) the front of the cover i left alone and it still gets warm there but i'm not going to drill it out i dont think
