Newbie here and i hope someone can help me out here.I have just purchase a 08 Shenke 150cc. NO Spark!. I replaced the coil, CDI, and the complete stator/flywheel assy. It started and i rode it around the block shut it off and presto no spark again. I checked all of the connections, grounds and the 1 fuse i could find. I do know that the blinkers were working, and now they come on but do not flash like before ?? dont know if this has any bearing on my original problem. I hope that someone can point me in the right direction before i take this thing out and use it for target practice. Thanks in advance

What a coincidence there is a member on here (TERRILEE) that had the same problem and has the same scoot at yours even the same year. Her problem was the STATOR causing no spark.
Make sure your ground wire FROM the MOTOR to the Frame is in good shape and did not come loose. Did you test for spark on the FRAME and or ENGINE? Check it on the FRAME and see if it sparks there.
Also make sure the KILL SWITCH is on the RUN position otherwise it will not spark. Alleyoop

tested on frame where the grounds all hook up. I even cleaned that area and re tightened all the bolts. Kill switch is all they way on because when its not the starter will not engage. Had the shop replace everything yesterday. Coil/stator/cdi etc...

Have you tried to kick start it? Why not replace all the new parts with the old parts and see if it will run...
Just because the parts are new dosen't mean they work.. in fact I have gone through 5 CDIs to get one that works well...

If that is the piece that sits above the flywheel, it was all changed yesterday. I looked at the grommet after i put flywheel cover back on and it all looked good

u said u tested on the frame, did u test the spark on the valve cover?? and since it was done by a shop 'yesterday' they should look at for free
but even if u dont want to do that these guys will get it running, trust me

Kick start had no positive outcome. same thing no spark. I know its probably something really small but it sure is annoying

Check for AC volts on the red and back wire that runs from the stator to the CDI.. check the CDI plug..as well the copper spades are often loose...
You should have 50V+ to 100V+ volts on the red and black..
Then check the trigger wire.. often blue and yellow... or blue and white it should have about .5volts and it should be intermittent as the flywheel turns...that is the trigger voltage to the CDI from the pick-up coil...

Fortunately the shop guys are really nice and have no problem looking at it again, its a drive for me and they have pretty much guided me in the right direction and are at their wits end as well, I have faith in the folks on this forum, from what i have read so far they are all pretty knowledgeable

Check the two electrical spade fasteners under the rubber boot on the ignition coil.. they can be loose. Then check that the spark plug boot actually grips the top of the spark plug.. they often go bad inside and don't make contact...
Check the high tension wire it screws into the coil and also the plug boot...

Here is a silly question. They had me hook up a test light to the pos side of the batt. and test the spade (s) at the coil. upon cranking the test light pulses, now the light stays pretty steady without pulses. do not know if this test is accurate ?

HPS Motorsports in PGH are the shop 4 me. my van is dead , so i had to hire a truck to take Chrissy to the shop. i kept getting bad flywheel pullers in the mail, so i decided WTH im tired of no scoot, they had her running in a few days, i was like 8th in line, so i had to wait.BUT being that a shop did it, it something stupid, a bad cdi, or coil or something stupid. one good thing about taking it back to the shop is they can swap parts quick to find the prob.
