Well. i know the stator/rectifier/cdi/coil were just replaced, just got it back from the repair shop. The lights were working a little bit then they went out. while it was idling so i dont know what may have gone wrong. aside from the ground hook up under the engine is there another one in the front that may have gotten loose

.My scooter is now running great, but i have noticed i have no lights what so ever at Idle, but upon throttle i have lights. The more revs the more light. Signals and brake lights work with no issues. tail light and head and dash lights not so good. ???If i was to run a line from the battery to a switch and take the yellow wire from the light dimmer switch and put a line from the ignition switch. will this work

Okay, well go it back. the rectifier was bad. they replaced it and it runs good and turns off too! what a concept. Now for the newest development. At idle i have no head or tail lights. as i rev it up they start working. as soon as it goes to idle, they go out again. I have 12v to battery and as i rev it, the voltage also increases. signals work great and high beam switch does what it needs to. any ideas? I think when i put the new mirrors on it, this baby is going up for sale.

Well finally got the word from the shop. The new CDI box they put on was bad, they found out after replacing the kill switch then they replaced the stator as well. now it runs great but will not turn off, got to love this thing. I know they will figure it out pretty soon, and i'll be buzzin around town on this thing.

Here is a silly question. They had me hook up a test light to the pos side of the batt. and test the spade (s) at the coil. upon cranking the test light pulses, now the light stays pretty steady without pulses. do not know if this test is accurate ?

Fortunately the shop guys are really nice and have no problem looking at it again, its a drive for me and they have pretty much guided me in the right direction and are at their wits end as well, I have faith in the folks on this forum, from what i have read so far they are all pretty knowledgeable
