Yeah, will be ordering those parts by tonight and hopefully they ship quickly and i can finish this thing up and have it running for this upcoming weekend.
And yes, one of the things i always try to do when fixing something i couldn't find a video of myself is to record it and post it up, for all the future people who struggle with the same issue, and it probably will make your life alittle easier if this problem comes up again you can just be like "here, watch this video." LOL

one suggestion before you put the seal in spead a little grease on the lip so when you start up the motor you dont burn the new seal

OK so I hit a snag... how do I get behind this gear on the crank shaft? Attachments:

You need a puller with samll enough bite on the arms to get behind the gear so you can pull it out. There are pictures of one guy doing it and he made a makeshift puller But I don't know if it was on this forum or not. But that is what you have to do Alleyoop

OK thanks... I was wondering, all the gears in here are for the kick start correct?? If so since I have an electric start could I not put these back in? Or would that mess up the engine

You can take all the kickstart stuff out if you want, the kickstart is there for emergency use in case something goes wrong with your electric start system. Alleyoop
