What do you guys think of writting a stickey with all the New info you guys have learned threw the years. It would sure save time when a new owner buys a bike and is going crazy trying to figure it out. It would be the Bible of Tryke Fixes and Thoughts. Anyway is the 150 not shake as bad because it has a straight axle even though it has bad tires? And the 300's when they had a straight axle did they shake as bad? Just trying to understand why such a big difference. What you guys think of the PD done by the factory? Will it fix the problems, will they road test? Nothing will change until Icebear geats the bad dealers weeded out also that seems to be a big problem also. With the short time I have been trying to get a bike I cannot belive the things I have read and actually had pulled on me. Thats one of the reasons I would like to find a used bike. Hey Mike what happened to the lady that had a 300 that used to make you fix it? The biggest problem is that Folks get these machines dropped shipped and DO NOT check them over and PDI them before they start riding them. That is why Ice Bear has cut their Warranty in half for those that want to the PDI themselves instead of buying from a B&M shop or having a "real" mechanic do the PDI. If a shop does the PDI or Ice Bear does it before they ship the machine then the full warranty is in place. It is not the factory in China that does the PDI it is the distributor in CA. Start selling scrap metal!! There is a guy here that goes around on garbage night working for scrap metal. Did me a favor taking all my engine blocks and he says he does good. Fido I agree with you they need to set up a system. Icebear just screwed their dealers by offering the PDI and don't bother with the customers. They say go to the dealer if you have a problem. Now instead of the dealers like Jim who would have made a little money on the PDI they are cut out and have to put up with the customers even though they didn't do the PDI. The guy by me wanted $350 for the PDI on a 150cc. Why give it to him when Icebear does it for $161 see what I am saying here?

Do ya all remember the lady that ordered the 150 trike in Orlando last year, forget her handle. Was from Superior Power Sports, PDI it and put it on a pallet and sent it to her. She had nothing but trouble with it and ended up selling it for I think it was $1,200. I do not beleive they change out the fuel filters and lines and all the oils and the cooling system, You still have a lot to do and people that get a bike PDI think it is the dealers that have to get alll the viberations and rattles out of. Well how they gonna do all that for $161???
These trikes are nice for the price but require an owner that can change and repair things that they did with cheap nuts and bolts and soft metals. They are a blast to ride and sure catch the eyes of others. Go to a car show and everyone will stop and look...it is cool..

You are right these machines are not up to the quality of Honda /Kaw/Yamaha/ but the price is a lot less to you get what you pay for. The parts are avaible if you know how to find them//and if you can make the repair. From what I have seen our local support in this area is crap. I had to order a spark plug cap how bad is that. I ran a Honda/ Kaw dealer ships service dept in Miami for 12 years if I could not supply a plug cap they would have linched me.

I wish Honda and Kaw and the rest would make a small tryke like Icebear. I would pay the extra for product knowing i am getting something worth more then $279 in Kelly Blue Book for a 2011! At least Honda and the rest hold some value After seeing that and when I finally get a bike I am not even going to put theft and collision on it. What do you guys think of that will it pay? By the way Jim any word on the 300's, is Harry back?

Where is the 2011 trike for $279.00, I don't think so maybe a crashed one. Well sure go get a honda or Yamaha or whatever and then pay 3 times for parts and their labor is not ship. And don't tell me they don't break down the Yamaha dealer down the road from me is a big place and they have a big front room and a big shop in back their back room is full and their fenced in yard is full waiting to get fixed. One guy down the road as well used to sell Vesps and Piaggos and he had a mechanic. He had about 30 scoots there all fixed but the owners could not afford to pay to get them out. The owners just left them he had to wait 6 months before he could auction them off to get them out of his shop they were taking up to much space.
I think your looking for a Caddillac for the price of a Chevy. I agree little more quality should be put into them but that is up to the Importer to get his manufactuer to do that. Now to get more quality it will cost the Importer more so they will be more expensive. Alleyoop

I do see where the guy was over priced at $350 to do a PDI on a 150. The point of Ice Bear doing a basic PDI for drop shipping customers actually helps the on line only dealer even tho the cost is less than most of us charge for a Full PDI. Their point was to offer one for the folks that don't have a shop to do their PDI for them and to cut back on warranty parts that if the PDI was done the warranty issue would not happen. Too many people trying to fix an issue by ordering a part that wasn't the problem, then ordering another part ect. In other words change parts till it works. Keep in mind this is new to Ice Bear and they have a few bugs to work out of the system. Also, the customer must understand that things work loose during shipment and it is still their responsibility to check things before they ride, which I explain to every customer I sell too. In reality, a person should check any machine before every ride, which honestly most do not. Any machine that is physically sold and delivered by a B&M Store in Wisconsin MUST be inspected before it is sold, State Law. Drop shipping does not fall into that Law. The selling dealer is STILL responsible for processing any warranty claims for the end customer. Ice Bear is a wholesale distributor and does NOT deal with the end customer. Jim

I am getting sick of youn guys talking to me the way you do. I'm new at this forum and you dis me like that. If you can't understand what I said I'll say it again. I didn't say there is a bike for sale for $279 I said KELLY BLUE BOOK SAYS if it got totaled. Yes mike I am still asking about the 300 I'm trying to get a deal like you got!! READ and TAKE YOUR PILLS!! When I ask a question I don't seem to get a answer just BS I am trying to understand this scooter stuff and save some money just like you Mike. You know your pissed because I made you a low offer that is called dealing. I could not even hear the Sliver Bullit run that day, it was broke!! Then I called you the other day to buy for the price you asked and the throttle is broke and then you tell me about a guy that wants to give you $4500 for it!! That is called GREED.

Call it what ever you wish. The fact is I told you it was no longer for sale because I think after hearing and seeing some of your replies here and there you would be calling alll the time and doing just as you are now tread. You have also made PM remarks to a couple of my friends... Take your own pills John... You may be a doctor but your not mine. You were told when you came here that the Magnum was down getting new filter and fuel lines but you said that's ok I just want to see one...
Now I have been on a few of these fourms and get a little tired of crap like this but there is that other one you like that grows on it. What I do with my things is my business...and no I am not a greedy person, nor a name caller... The Magnum will be taken to AR and I will use it when I am there, but that is none of your business. I still say for what you want to do get a bigger machine, used maybe and put a trike kit on.....
