94 is to short, 96 is to long By Gti (Read 670 times)

I tried installing my new 96 link chain and this chain is WAY to dang gone long. I would use a chain breaker but have yet to find one that looks like it might work. I am now open for suggestions!!!

I got this on sale for $29.95. Ground off one link used the tool to disconnect it then used the tool to rivet the connecting link on.

did you retract the tensioner on the motor before bolting it to the motor

I think they have TRIKEs they are talking about the Chain from the Front Drive Sprocket to the Rear Differential Sprocket.
They are not talking about the Cam chain which is way shorter.

Wow, we just used a 4in grinder than punched the link out..You can clearly see when you have grinde3d enough

Alleyoop he is trying def cam chains on the moster motor build he has been working on for the last few months

The stock cam chain is90 links, but they come in 92, 94 and 96.. IF none are right you have to play with shims between the case and the jug
