Yes, the enricher keeps getting voltage as long as the motor is running. Once you shut the motor off NO MORE VOLTAGE is sent to the ENRICHER. Alleyoop

Thanks alleyoop, I notice today while riding it acts like it runs out of gas, but when I pull over its still running, the idle is still rough like its missing. maybe due for a valve adjustment? It acts like its boging down, from the stop light, it seem like it wasn't responding to the throddle fast enough.

I think I found the problem, my intake clamp was very loose, don't they make a clamp that tightens up and stays tight?

HAHAHA, they do stay tight its just that the Rubber starts to get soft from the heat and you have to crank them down some more. I still have the orginal clamps and Intake on mine since 2009. Alleyoop

Yes the one you bought to replace are much better than the ones they put on. You should have no problem keeping them tight with the new one. Alleyoop

Sure Vibration cause screws to come loose all the time. Alleyoop

Thanks Alleyoop, Last night I replace some vacuum lines also, and I'm going to check all of them and keep my eye on those screws. Scoot is back running good, before I do a valve adjustment, I want to make sure all the vacuum lines are correct.

Richard, at least once a month I can take my screwdriver to the intake clamps and get another out of it. I really should replace that clamp like you did. Yes, vibration can loosen clamps.
