Got a elect problem i cant figure out. Got my sons scooter out last summer after it sat all winter, it wasnt charging so he ordered a regulater and it sat all winter again. now nothing works, no dash lights turn signals horn or any thing works. battery is reading a little over 13 volts. if u check the back of ign switch with key off i get 25 volts. with the key on i get nothing. if i jump the starter seliniod it turns over. tried jumping ign switch and nothing happens.

Check the fuse, it should be on the smaller red wire coming from the positive battery terminal, it could be blown or more probably the terminals will be corroded or dry. Vehicles like to be used, leaving it sat round all winter is going to give quite a few problems in the long run. I`m not sure how you`ve managed to get 25v at the ignition switch when the only power source on a non running scoot is the 13v from the battery, bit of a mystery.

Oh that explains the 25 volts, the Tank 150 has TWO batteries! Kidding there SM...just kidding. Unplug the ignition switch from it's harness. Now test the red wire that comes from the battery to ground with your multi. You should get around 12v DC, if not it's probably the inline fuse. Now test the black wire to red wire coming from the ignition for continuity. With the switch off you should have none, with it on you should have a tone. If not it's a bad switch. The scooter was weeping all alone out in the garage while you were inside all warm and toasty. Just picture that while you're trying to fall asleep. Rich
