Those are cool BC (ba-dump , I've thought of going with the battery power so I don't have to draw down the bike's battery. However, I've got a whole set of Tourmaster Synergy that I hate to waste. I've got everything from neck to big toe:
[/url] Click image for link The problem is they suck energy: If I decide to use them instead of getting battery powered this winter I'm going to have to upgrade the stator on my CF Fashion. I may end up buying an OEM stator and trying to wind it myself to get the juice I need. Then, I'd probably have to contact that guy at Oregon Motorcycle and see if he could supply an R/R that would handle the whole thing. I'm not sure what to do. Rich[/b]

i just had to post the battery powered stuff for the less mechanical scooter enthusiasts who stare at the thought of changing their stator as a cow would stare at an on-coming train. and yes john, we all know you have the most expensive winter wear ( gerbings ) nice high quality though. @ bash, holey toledo! the power consumption is insane for that set there! fwew you could brave the coldest blizzard in that suit!

On my Vulcan I had everything at max on the clothing from head to foot and was warm down to 30 degrees. Even on the big mutha it drained the battery down but I was toasty. I'm thinking on the scooter if I could use just the jacket and gloves I could go down to 30 or below. I will have to rewind a stator with more coils but the project sounds tasty. The Fashion is all DC so I'll just have to get a bigger battery and get some juice to it. I've been reading a lot about stator concepts and bike wiring, I think I can do it. Rich

i just had to post the battery powered stuff for the less mechanical scooter enthusiasts REALLY? Sounds like you're just trying to hit up everyone here with free air time and throwing your inventory in our faces! Isn't there a place for vender's to post sales and items they want to rid their selves of? Or are you getting a kick back from these sales Rich? If anyone else had tried such a post you wouldn't have responded until you had a least moved it to the right place. Must be it is all about making $$!M/C
