I just put the new rings on my scoot,adjusted the valves,and it apears to run good,but this morning,it took like 15 seconds to start,and lots of white smoke came out of the mufler,after 3 minutes no more smoke,scoot runs ine and after that it starts fine everytime,any advice on what to check? thanks for the help

The rings will need seating too and will the smoke should stop when they do. Don't hammer it until the engine breaks in. Keep your oil checked. Rich

Did you gap the rings and stagger the gaps and hone the cylinder wall?
In a GY6 the rings only go in one way correctly...use nonnsynthetic oil for first 100 miles
