That is whaqt my 15yo son wants to get into. Wind Energy. He was talking about becoming a wind energy engineer, but jumped to solar for a while. I think he's back to wind again.
We live about 40 minutes from a wind research center in Superior, CO.

Well I'm up to 28. I dont like the urban ones much so I been working on some in the parks. With this heat I been staying to the ones that are around 1/4 mile or less from parking. I just got back from walmart with a 2 litre hydro pack and some swag so its time to go for some of those a bit deeper in the parks.

PS: the Delorne PN40 is awesome but if I was to do it over I would save the $40 and get the PN30. No real use with the altimeter and the compass basically becomes useless right when you need it.

I'm at three but not much time to do it.
I use only my phone and the geo app for Android and it's been great!
I did find a nice GPS JUST for geocaching but don't want to spend anything
as long as my phone app is doing the job (thanks Damin for that info)

I also have made a few cool things to leave as trades, some coin things (went to
bank and got chinese money with the hole in it) and even some lip balm keychains
that are really small and easy to stuff in small spaces.

I still have a couple close, walking distance caches to find but it's raining. . .darn it.

Yeah, I went out to do a few thats nearby and about time I got out there a severe thunderstorm rolled in. I put on some rain gear but when the lightning started hitting closeby I decided to hide under an overpass until the storm passed. I did find a couple before I made a dash for the house though.

Wow. Put 250 miles on Scooter Caching on Saturday. Picked up 16 more caches. Makes for a great way to get scoot time and enjoy many new places.
