Mine is simaler but my drive belt isn't on the same side of the motor!!

If that is the motor then behind the CVT cover it should look similiar to this. Take a picture of the CVT area with the COVER off like this picture so we can see what your setup is like. Alleyoop  |

with the cover off will the motor turn over easier and like Ally said take a few pics of the motor with the cover off and of the inside of the cover some thing is binding the motor up with the cover on and we can not see what is going on without pics

Just a thought.....
Could it be that the gear from the kick start be interfering? Possibley the spring pushing gear farther int then it needs to?
Its just a shot in the dark
