Is it a 50cc or what? You mean you put the CVT cover on and it won't turn over? Rich

Gee.. that's a new one..I wonder if thereis an interlock switch on the CT cover..some scooters had those..what year?
Long shot ...run a 16 AWG wire from the engine block to the bare frame and try it..it might be a grounding problem

check and see if there is any binding with the way the motor is bolted in and use a heavy gage wire 16 awg is not heavy enough use like an 8 awg wire for a ground the wire size is the smaller number the bigger wire cross section

Wow, that IS a new one. OK, your starter is outside the CVT cover and on top of the engine on the left side......is that correct? Maybe the kickstart mechanism is getting pushed against something when you put the CVT cover on. I'm just floating balloons here, I'm mystified. Rich

Yes the starter is on the outside to the cvt cover to the left and the kick start disengaged seem to be pressing on anything that was the first thing I cheaked out! I have no clue either that's why I'm here!!! Hope someone has a clue but thank all of you for your time and help!!! Really!!!!

Yes it still drags a lil without the plug in but not as bad!!! The starter is putting out the right voltage and I grounded it to the frame now so I'm really at a loss???

Are you certain there is no interlock switch on the CVT cover? There is no way the CTV cover could interfer with the starter unless it is physically putting a load on the engine by rubbing or restricting something...

Does your CVT look like this? If so the shaft end on the BENDIX FITS INTO A HOLE ON THE INSIDE OF THE CVT ITSELF to align it so it is straight and supports the bendix. If the end of the shaft is NOT supported and in the hole it could be hanging up the Variator from turning and or causeing to bind the gear on the starter. Alleyoop
