I have a New 300cc Tornado with less then 300 miles on it and the rear deck is cracking by the mounting screws. Does anyone have a idea how to stop this from getting worse? I have tried the bigger washer setup and thick undercoat but is has not slowed it down. I was going to put diamond plate strips on but I have rubber grommets that go through the deck. When you take the grommet out there is a bigger hole then the screw. I can't put the plate over the rubber grommet because then it does not fit flush. I have thought about using Dyna Mat which is stuck on the inside of the cars quarter panals so they don't vibirate so bad with the bass. It's like a thick tar paper and fly paper. Any other ideas out there would help, Thanks

Take the rubber grommets out and put the diamond plate strips but make sure you have some cushion under the fenders against the metal holers. The diamond plate will spread the pressue across a greater area and will stop the cracking. Doesn't matter if there is a bigger hole with rubber grommets out. Mine NEVER came with rubber grommets that was added to SEE IF THAT WOULD stop the cracking NOT THAT IT WOULD. Alleyoop

Alley with the bigger holes the deck moves around and gets out of wack. They are big holes, like 3/8.

Your saying this and haven't even tried it you have to tighten down the Plates. My holes are about 1/2 and have had the plates now for 2 year but you do what you want. Alleyoop

If it is already cracked then you need to repair the cracking area before you do what Alley did, otherwise the cracking will continue. Napa sells a two part expoxy weld for plastics that works very well.
Of course you may be wasting your time, since you did a charge back on the dealer that sold you the machine and mostlikely will loose it anyways.

Jim what did I do to you that you attack me the way you do for all to read. I asked a simple question and you are giving a dig. You have no idea the deal that is being worked out. Do you think Icebear tells you the whole truth so that you can let everyone on the web know whats going on? If the people really new what I am doing with Icebear they would be doing the same thing. Do me a favor don't answer my questions on this or any other forum I don't need YOUR help.

You started this along time ago. I am not attacking you, I am simply stating facts. I have not said anything directly attacking you or calling you names. I have not made comments on other boards about you, simply because you have not said anything on the other boards in the same light you have done here. Now you are trying to get everyone to believe you are working a deal with Ice Bear directly. It is NOT Ice Bear you have to work a deal with it is the dealer you did a charge back against. Ice Bear is a wholesale distributor and does not deal with the end consumer. That is what their dealers are for. Your charge back did not affect Ice Bear, it affected the dealer that sold you the machine and was trying to help you. Us dealers buy the product from Ice Bear and then sell it to the customer. Your stories change so much it is funny and has gotten very predictable. All of the forums have a section for consumers to talk about Dealers, maybe we should have one to talk about good and bad end users. I will tell you this, I know more about what is going on than you think I do and you really don't want to open that can of worms. Do YOU a favor? I think not. It is an open forum and I will comment on any post that I please. It helps other members that may have the same or similar problem. That is what information is all about. If the Ops think I am wrong, they will correct me, delete my posts and/or ban me. Jim

Both Jim and Alley are correct , the bracket underneath with distribute the energy if it is padded like alley mentioned. Jim mentioned the epoxy great, but you will need to stop drill the cracking . Where the leading edge of the crack is drill a small hole greater diameter then the crack. Then I would seal as Jim told you. The other problem with Jim is all you. I don't know the history but this is a public open forum. Good luck
