I am getting ready to buy a crate engine from MBE and was told that the GY6-B engine drum brake set up is larger than the brakes on my scoot. Does anyone know what I have to do to convert my wheel over and or where do I find a wheel to accommodate the larger drum of the new engine?

I`m not totally certain on this but I think the B engine is for 16 inch wheels. There are more informed members of the forum who hopefully will be along to answer your question.  |

I converted from drum to disk , post a pic of your swing arm . also see if the MBE engine has the mountings on the rear of the engine to mount a caliper .
What kind of scooter is it .
