Has anyone tried little bigger actual size weights? For instance the 150s normally take 18x14 but they have 19x15.5, 19x17 etc..
I notice on my Variator that there is quite a bit of play side to side and I am thinking maybe the 19x15.5 would work better and not rattle so much. And because of the 15.5 verses the 14 it would also push out the Variator more.
Any Thoughts on this, I am willing to be the science project on this unless someone can think of why it will not work or some drastic side effects. Alleyoop

Alley they are cheap... Order some sliders from partsforscooter.com, great deal on Dr Pulleys... i know the rattle is gone on my Magnum with the sliders but I did not go over size. You will know when on the center stand if they are gonna hang up or anything and I can not see how they could damage the ramps. If they stick just take them out and go back to size.

I wouldn't think it would hurt as long as they'll move in the ramps and let the variator release at low RPM....JMO. Rich

Yea I was just thinking what the hey, Dr. Pulley is the only one that I found that offers the 19x15.5 in Sliders, so If they DON'T FIT I GOT TO QUIT. ;D For those of you that are to young there was a famous quote by O.Js lawyer when he tried on the GLOVES that supposedly were used to murder his wife and boyfriend( IF THEY DON'T FIT YOU GOTTA ACQUIT). If you have some calipers you could measure the ramps and just make sure you have a little space

Yes Maggo, I did measure and there is room, not on the PRODIGY Variator but on one of the the others Which I am running with at the moment. So I think I will give them a shot and see if they work ok and will put up results. Alleyoop
