My 60mm high compression piston and cylinder showed up today from Scooter Elements, I'm stoked to get this thing installed but I don't have a head yet to pair with it.
Couple questions.
1. Could I just use the stock 57.5mm head? Don't want to but just curious.
2. Non of the heads Scooter elements sells will work with my valve cover. I can either find a non-egr head or buy an egr valve cover. His heads don't have the EGR port but they do have the EGR style gasket seating area and the part that sticks off the head for the EGR pipe.
3. What head would you use? Feel free to provide links.

I would get this 58.5mm head from Walter at Scooter Elements:
Click pic for link!
He had that with a stainless steel valve version but I didn't see it offered anymore. You might shoot him an e-mail and see what he says about that and mm compatibility. As I understand these things you can go smaller on the mm than your cylinder but not bigger. Then, get an EGR valve cover from Srcappy:
Again with the link!!
Scrappy's shipping is too high IMO but he always seems to have the part in stock. You might try the guys in our banners at the top but I couldn't easily find a valve cover on their sites and we're headed out to breakfast! Rich

Yeah I was looking at the 4 valve head. I found a pretty good deal on one, I'm curious can you use racing cams or are you stuck with the one it comes with. Also, since I'm using a high compression domed piston should I be concerned about it hitting the valves.

Most 4 valve heads have aggressive cams...yup...you need to change the piston to,match the head in many cases...do a carefull wax test, by hand after you torque down the head..you likely will need to machine the piston head...
