Welcome Motopopie, Good to have you on the forum, and when you get a chance put up some pictures of your Stable of scoots. I have one of the first IB Trikes when they started to sell them here I have a 2009 I bought 2 of them one for me and one for my brother-in law back in March of 2009. I know just about every piece on my Trike and just had a few problems with the Axle and muffler but fixed all that the first year. I wanted more speed and wanted a BIG BORE KIT put on but I could not find anyone in Illinois able to do it or did not want to do it so JIM from RapidRepair said one of his friends has a shop that can do it. So I hauled my Trike 400 miles up to Wisconsin to have it done. It was just like yours 149.6 ccs now it is 182ccs. I modded the heck out of mine and it is just FANTASTIC!! So if your having problems or whatnot open up a thread and I will see if I can be of some help. Here is what I have on it currently. Alleyoop

Watch that Motopoopie stuff Basham---You must have been talking to my wife--Ha ha My wifes Cyclone has a little over 600 mi on it & it seems to be picking up a lot of rattles from the Diff. anyone had any probs there--checked out the rear end breakdown & it seems pretty simple, just haven't got around to taking it apart--any suggestions? Will try & figure out what all these scoots are & learn how to send pic in next few days. I have a 150 Roketa Spec Addition which I love --a 2010 150cc trike I think Roketa also--2008 150 Sun-L-- 2006 Sun-L with 8 mi on it--a 2008 Bashan(looks just like my sun-l's) which I have tore down to paint & put a sidecar on Then my little classic looking 2008 Lahai hotrod another fun critter--my wife has the 2012 Cyclone we bought through Jim back in July(Problem Child)do not pay Ice Bear for a PDI if you expect to get anything other than maybe the warrenty ANY Mech. inclined 10 YEAR OLD COULD HAVE DID A BETTER SETUP. They did warrenty L. fender & frt tire--One rear tire was so much out of round it would have took at least 14 oz. of weight to bal.( tire shop would not put that much weight on a 10 in tire) Something about DOT laws. Jim said Ice Bear wouldn't consider replacing it--Found a old time recapping shop that trimmed it for me--olny took 4 oz. then. Other than a couple wires that were unplugged, 1 fuel line disconnected lots of loose bolts, nut completely missing on R.R. shock, chain to tight, brown goop in carb intake & a few other things I guess they did a pretty good job. Ha Ha. Like I said Love that Jim he helped all he could I guess But Ice Bear sure needs to Cowboy up or go back to China. MPO Hey guys thanks for litening & any suggestions are appreciated on the Diff. Later Pops PS the other Scoots belong to my son & daughter & I counted 11 of them in my stable today.

Well depends what you call rattles, if actual rattles then I would say the Fenders are rattling against the metal fender holders. Need to put some cushioning under the fenders where ever the fenders touch the metal and that will stop the rattling of the fenders. If it is more like grinding have you filled the differential with grease? Also the axle could be a little cocked and the chain is making noise rolling on the sprocket at an angle. Also if it is not centered it will cause more vibration with the fender and center cover. It could also be one of the axles moved out a little and the Hub is loose on the axle that will cause the tire to wobble and if not caught in time will eat away at the splines on the hub. I took those cheap out of round tires off and put on bigger tires 205/65x10 which are 3" taller and they are round had them balanced and they took about one 1 oz each. Since they did such a good job on the PDI I would change the oil in the tranny to make sure they did put oil in there. It takes only 6-8 ozs no more otherwise it will just started squirting out of the vent hose. By the way It is much easier and simplier to add the oil through the Vent Hose. The fill plug is a little behind the Sprocket and you will need to take the sprocket off to take the Oil Fill Plug out to fill it from there. Alleyoop
