How many turns is it OUT RIGHT NOW. If it took 4-6 turns to close it WOW!! that is a lot of fuel. Normally the screw should be anywhere from 2-3 turns OUT FROM the closed position.

GTI, How is it going did turning the Fuel Ratio in and out about 2-3 turns help the situation? Now since you screwed down the IDLE SPEED SCREW all the way in it may start up and rev like a scalaped ape. Also because the IDLE SPEED SCREW has the butterfly really open it may also be hard to start allowing to much air in for starting. You may have to turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE to close the BUfferfly some to act more like a choke.
Right now we are not concerned with the Throttle cable for all we care it can be completely off. We first need to get the motor to start and idle half way descent and stay running. Alleyoop

Here is a quick progress report. I attempted to start the scoot today and failed. I had to go to class tonight and upon getting home, I went out and gave it the ole college try. I was about to get it running but not well at all. I began this morning by resetting the idle screw and the A?F screw back to closed and turned the A/F screw to 2 - 3 turns. When trying to crank it, nothing happened at that. I ended up turning it another 1.5 - 2 turns before it would even attempt to crank. I have a busy day of writing a few papers and other class work to do tomorrow so I am gonna take a day. I have a stock CDI coming and a Universal Parts CDI coming as well and I will install those on Friday. I also believe from the short ride I was able to do tonight with a little throttle always open that the valves may be a bit to open. We shall see of Friday. If you have any suggestions between now and then I am always open. Alley once again Thank you. I appreciate all you advice and help!!!

Well that is good that IT IS RUNNING with some throttle. THAT IS A PLUS(HEHE). So the problem seems to be TO MUCH AIR NOT ENOUGH FUEL. So here is what you can try Get some TAPE and tape around the AIR FILTER about 1/3 of it off, just wrap the tape around part of the end of the AIR FILTER. That will cut off some air and it will be more fuel per air amount.
Do you have OIL on the Air Filter or NOT. If no oil it sucks in quite a bit of AIR when they are OILed it cuts down on the AIR.
And yes re-Check your Valve Adjustment Set them BOTH to .004 inchs. Alleyoop

No I do not have any oil on the filter. Where do I find some to put on it? I am definitely going to take care of this on Friday. I wish I had time to do it tomorrow but there is no time.

Auto parts stores have oil in a spray can for K&N Filters that will work just spray all around like if your painting something using a spray can. You don't want to soak it just enough to trap small particles of dirt but that also will cut some air off. But you can try the tape trick until you get some oil. Alleyoop

Well I have the results on the ADVANCEING CDI that I got from JOHN(TVANCMAN). The number of it is 87356 and it works FANTASTIC!! It is Retarded when you first start it and as your RPMS rise it advances the TIMEING AWESOME!!
I put it on and the Trike hadn't been started in 4 days, I hit the start button it fired up immediatlely with no KICKBACK and get this IDLED AT 1100 RPMS!! I had to raise the IDLE using the IDLE SPEED screw to 1500 rpms. Naturally I took it for a spin and it is great that is what I was hoping it would do from reading the description. Alleyoop
