I recently purchased a used 2008 Jonway 250 with 20 miles on it. I removed all the plastic to inspect the bike and found the starter solenoid just hanging by the wires. I've searched and there is no obvious place to attach it to the bike. Does anyone have a pic, or explain where it should be installed?
I am open to any other maintenance suggestion I should take care of while all the plastic is removed. I am planning on changing the engine oil, fuel lines, and final drive oil.

There should be a round rubber mount that the soleniod sits in. It has a "slit" in it that slides on a tang on the frame. This should be above where the soleniod is hanging.

The solenoid has the rubber ring with the slit installed on it, it is the tang that I can't locate. Can you tell me where to look or post a pic?

Look on the frame close to battery or where the battery is. It cannot be far away just by looking at the length of the wires will give you a hint as to where the TANG to hang it on is. Alleyoop

I found it! The location was actually located in the plastic that houses the battery. I had problems locating it since I didn't discover the loose solenoid until I removed the plastic and I was focused on finding the mounting location on the frame.
