There are two scootdawgs now. Dot com and dot net. Its a big mess. Apparently, a guy named Mike bought the original. He then set up scoot dawg.net and transferred all the threads, and tried to close the old one. Proboards stepped in and opened up the original again. Now, we have two scootdawgs. A lot of legal issues regarding this.

Why am I not surprised that SD is embroiled in a bigger controversy than the usual mud slinging? It was always about people hurling insults, Mods maneuvering to be top dog and who imagined themselves to be the biggest authority on scooters. Now it's about "going to a better environment", yeah right. More posing and posturing by people who can't ride around the block.

Looks like its going to be a long knockdown drag out fight. I don't like either one of them. I have not posted there since madman came back as a mod a few years ago. The new one initially looked like the better software might be ok, except the admin. Mike, is a shark looking to make money off scooter people. As KZ says "More posing and posturing by people who can't ride around the block."
It has been a long time since dawg had any body that rides as a mod. I quit a home machinist forum when it was taken over by a shark who can't read a micrometer. In my opinion in a scooter forum all the mods and admin need to be owners and riders of scooters and if they don't they do not have any place running a forum for scooters. john

the original scootdawg, well there isnt a ADMIN now,
just ONE mod, like there sorta has been for a long time,
he doesnt have the authority to do it.
he is prob waiting for PRO B to make THEIR ruling and either appoint him Admin or whatever.
and not to make excuses for him,

he is updating all new PRO B software for his site,

I did delete all my post and account from the old forum.

I logged in at the new site and started deleting my post from there. I was about half way done deleting, then the edit/ delete tab was remove from all my post so now I can't delete any more. I Have not logged in there since. I also have not got a response from the administrator about my request to delete the content of my posts.

Funny.....Give Medman more power, I guess that is what you would call it... Cracks me up, talk about Clicks!!!!! He is the leader of it all and just kicks off, bans members when he wants, a lot of good folks left there cause of him and a few of his buddies
