It's so strange with my scoot some days the top speed will fluctuate,a few mph up or down,some days it will idle good,some days not,one day it will leak oil then it won't,I was in my garage working on my scoot with my oldest son and this sorta dawned on me there a lot like kids,good some days bad the next,some days they go with the flow other days not so much! Just thought I would share that.

And like children you have to be in tune with the signs of impending trouble. I used to be able to know by the slant of his eyebrows when my son was about to unleash trouble and take mitigating action. Listening to your scooter and knowing its normal sounds will help warn you that trouble is afoot when a new buzz, rumble or tone appears.

I know when my scoot doesn't feel right when riding, I start looking (by times that axle bolt comes loose or a tire may need air, or whatever it my be)
