Now rev it up to around 4k or so and see what it reads. Don't forget at idle they just put out just enough but see what it is puttig out at high rpms.

At around 4k steady reading is 12.45, but I have no trouble starting scoot, it fires right up. I did notice where the connector melted, the one side isn't totally plug in.

reading 12.45 at 4k is not good Richard, but try and make sure the pluged in nice and also the wires . When reving the motor as you rev it the VOLTAGE SHOULD start to rise. Around 4K it should read in the 13+ voltage and a good R/R will push that voltage to 14+. So you may have a bad R/R that is not charging the battery.

Thanks Alleyoop, the top has 4, but the bottom only has two wires coming into it, so would I but the 4 top and 4 bottom?

I email them, and told to cancel the order because I needed the 3 way plugs. I couldn't find a phone # to call them.
