Motorcycle super store has a sale thats about over I just found out....free shipping so I ordered a set of pirelli 112mph s rated tires for my majesty, $115 to my house is not a bad deal at all. I use my bench vice to break the little scooter tires beads and that is not going to work on these fatter tires so I am going to have to work out another way when they come. john

John, what size did you get?

120/80/14 front and 15/70/13 rear. Had a puncture in center of the front which I plugged to get a few more miles out of but both tires are worn to almost the limit. Roads around here I ride are dirt/gravel and the highways are mostly chip and seal. No tire on any thing, car or bike is going to get optimum wear, the chip and seal stuff is like little razor blades glued to the ground. The plug will probably have 200 miles on it when the tires come in this week. It sure feels good when you stick a set of nice tires on, they handle the way you want them. Around here would be a case for putting the rock hard dunlops on if you want long wear but my butt is worth a whole lot more than you can save using garbage tires that do not hold on slick surfaces.

Yea I don't like those chip and seal roads.
