Sounds to rich in the midrange either put in a smaller main jet or drop the needle. Hope the needle has some slots with the clip. Alleyoop

This is a 50cc right, try even smaller 90-95 main I mean a 150 comes with a main anywhere from 103-107 Alleyoop

Well look at the needle in the 24 and compare it to the one in the 26 see if the 24 is thicker. Alleyoop

I have 5 carbs bought 3 brand new ones for the price of two. All three came with an extra Diaphgram with needles. I played around and took one of the diapgrams that came with the new carbs and move the needle one notch bog like crazy. I then move the needle back and that also ran like crap. I then compared the needles the extra ones the needls were thicker than the ones that were in the carbs. I put the Diaphgram back that was in the carb and back to normal. Alleyoop

Don't forget the size of the jet and needle have to match to give the right amount of fuel for the mid range. If the jet is to big to much fuel will flow around the needle to small and not enough fuel will flow out in the midrange.
Also notice on some the tapers are different some are stubby and fat all the way down to the point some have a nice taper to point. Alleyoop
