Put the 24mm back, 26mm doesn't work i've found out.

Years ago on dawg people seemed to make a career out of trying to make a too big carb work and still went back to the right sized one. In my opinion a too big carb does not make enough vacuum to keep the engine running at all speeds. If any thing a too small one can be made to work just fine with a little bigger jets etc. Vacuum is what sucks the fuel out of the jets.

I wanted a 24mm carb but i got a 26mm thought i'd try it, its a no go

Yea the Venturi is much bigger than a 24mm to much air turbulence. Alleyoop
