s1244.beta.photobucket.com/user/A1WABBIT/media/M2U00127_zpscbd981b3.mp4.htmlHere are my issues. 1. The Variator I have is to large for my CVT Cover. Its is now apparent that when I upgraded I got a bigger drive face. Need suggestions on that to do. 2. The Center stand is extremely flimsy. Its like the spring is to loose. I had thought about nor using a CVT cover but the Center stand hits it and that causes a huge problem. Other than that the scoot is doing very well. The Flatside carb is the bees Knees!! it was easy to install and easy to tune!!

If it was me, I would just as soon as I determined the variator was working properly just cut away part of the cover that it is rubbing on. It probably isn't going to take more than a little grinding. Even if you cut thru it around the front half you have the rest of it to hold it in place. It does not need to be air tight. Quite a few people open up the area over the clutch for better cooling. I opened mine up and live on a dirt road, it runs fine. john

Sounds good Gti, Yea the cover just cut out where it is hitting you always can use more air to cool them anyways. Alleyoop

I am also having an issue with fuel line clamps. Where can I find some to fit? Could I use zip ties? I looked on partsforscooters and the smallest I see is 5/16 the fuel lines I am using are 3/16.

One way to use a regular small clamp is to cut a 1/2" section of a larger hose, split it length wise and use it to shim up the smaller fuel line. If you have sized your fuel line well it does not take a whole lot of pressure to hold it. There is some silicon rubber line that the better lawn mower shops use on their small engines, very flexible, tinted but clear enough to see fuel thru and a zip tie is usually enough to hold it in place because it is so soft.

Yes you can use ZIP TIES many use them and they do hold really well. Alleyoop

I use small screw tight hose clamps , I'm no fan of spring clamps .

Thats probably ok stuff but what I have used is a silicon rubber that is thicker than the plastic but softer so that a zip tie compresses it some what. I think it took $5.00 worth of the real skinny stuff for my chainsaw but I did have a foot or so left over.
