Hate to keep bugging you, but I depend on my scoot to get to work. The bus stops at 10:30 and I work til 11:45... Been giving me lots of troubles recently. Guess it might be getting too old. In this episode:
I have had to replace the headlight like 4 times in the past few months. It just burned out yesterday (just put that one in a week ago) and I have none to replace it! The turn signals have been out for a while, too. Brake light works...
Also it is sputtering every time I accelerate. Kinda like it is missing in regards to timing. Worries me...
Any advice?

What size bulbs are you putting in for the headlights 25w, 35W, 55w etc.. Check the connections going to the headlights they may be a little correded or not making good connection. Especailly check the ground wires going to the lights if they are loose that will make the bulb draw a lot of juice and burn them out.
As far as the sputtering if around where you live the temp changed from hot to cold or cold to hot you need to adjust the Fuel Ratio Mixture for the TEMP changes. Also when was the last time you adjusted your valves? From what you say and how you use it you must have a lot of miles on it and it is due for a valve adjustment. Alleyoop

dont touch the glass of the headlight with your hand the oils from your hands will make it burn out in like a week

I'd check the yellow wire off of the R/R. It usually supplies the headlights etc. with 8 to 14v AC. This odd young man shows you how:
If the R/R isn't keeping the voltage between 8 to 14 the headlights will pop.

Update: did valve adjustment, Started right up, ran smoother, very small sputter. Rode it to work and it dies at a stop light when it turned green and I applied the gas. Started after some tense moments...
Changed the fuel filter... Running much better, but still "pops" and sputters after warming up, but not as bad, runs much better, but still bogs down, cuts off, and doesn't want to start after warming up. I mean it is running. I can get to work, but...
Any ideas? Sounds to me like it may be the auto-choke.
As always thanks!
(And millsc was correct that some bulbs should not be touched. Oils from your hand can contaminate the bulb surface, causing uneven heating of the glass which can result in a fracture causing a loss of vacuum in the bulb, resulting in an immediate burnout of the bulb!)

Try checking the tappets. My sons scooter had similar issues took it in last week changed the battery and had tbe tappets altered seems to be better did cut out twice but asked my son if its done it again he tells me no. So fingers crossed thats it. Might be worth a look.
