No. We don't have any hidden charger like vespa dealers has. Tax is paid only by CT residents. We have dealer license just for having ability to buy scooters from auction. We fix them ( replaced broken plastics) and we sell them We are in the business since 2008 but we had 2 years break and we are coming back again with even bigger selection. I just found out that some guys were already talking about my website on this proboard so I figured that I would start post so people like you can ask question and I can easily answer.
Greg is the guy I bought the Big Ruckus from. He was totally up front about the paperwork issues. I had to learn the hard way then but the scooter was a good ride. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.

Next door guy bought salvage title a few months ago. Salvage inspection was $150.00 to re cert vehicle, he is now waiting for new title to get it registered.

hmm Salvaged title sounds like alot of headaches and trouble to get a title back to it cheap or not. Not to mention if you want to sell it in the future you have to show the title was once salvaged.
Not in every state. Here in New York you have to get the vehicle certified to get a salvage title and that's what it lives with for the rest of its life. Besides, many of us buy scooters and bikes to ride until they drop. Resale never even enters our mind. A used Vespa for 1/2 price is something most people can live with, even with a salvage title.

Since I started this post I can add up that if you think logically you are buying Vespa from a dealer you will spent 5000 and you will try to resell it after a year I'm not sure if anyone will like to spent 4500 for a year old one but even if they would. You loosing 500 after year of using it. But if you buy salvage title for 2000 dollars and you will try to resell it for 1500 so you loosing 500. The same value will be lost on both bikes. So what is the point of complaining if you don't think logically. Of course with all respect. I was and always will be honest to people who bought bikes from me and the worst thing is when people are trying to lie about title. We are in the business for a long time and my customers coming back but not with complains but with their relatives.

OK, but what I'm not understanding , is, the Vespas you have salvage titles on, are 5 to 10 years old, and you're still asking anywhere from 1500 to 3000 for em. I did a totally unscientific survey of vespas in my area (and denver) and found used vespas for around the same price as your salvage vespas. (Mostly 05's and 06's from 2000 to 2500, and one guy who really loved his 06 for 3700)
I'm not saying a salvage title vespa isn't gonna run as far or as long as any other, I'm just saying that any vehicle with a salvage title isn't gonna sell for the full value of a non salvage titled vehicle.
I'm not here to bash anyone, just saying that 'title wise', a salvage title and a reg title will not normally bring the same resale price.

i totally agree with greg. who cares about the salvage title?? if i can get a vespa for 2000, oh ill jump on it. , so cheap. i willl for sure buy a 2000 used vespa with a salvage title than a $4k worth of chinese Rocketa. jeeez!!
