Recently I adjusted my a/f screw because running too lean, two days ago it acked up again so I turned it 1/4 leaner, today I went of different direction up a very long hill, (2 miles up) I could tell it wasn't running right, it seemed like it was struggling for gas, got on main highway and going up another up it shut off on me, again took apart side adjusted a/f (adjusted a little richer, got it started and as i was going up another hill, shut off, adjusted a/f leaner still nothing, I'm starting to think my float is sticking or needs adjuested for hills. Hummmmmm, You may want to check the Float then and adjust the tab to allow the float to move up a little more so it fills the bowl more and covers the jets while at a steep angle. Here is how to check it. Alleyoop

Got my scoot home checked spark plug, it looks good and I have spark. when you say adjust tab a little so it move up, does that mean looking a pic the float will stick out from the carb a little more? When I have the carb out should I turn my a/f in and start all over or leave it along?

Yes I think the float is your problem , I is not moving up enough. ON THE FLOAT see where it is like half all the way around MAKE that LEVEL straight up and down. Pull the TAB out a little until that line is straight up and down. You can see that the bottom of the float is OUT MORE and shutting off the fuel to soon and leaving the level in the carb bowl to low. Alleyoop

Just put it on something level and hold it and bend the tab OUT a little until it is nice and level. You do not have to take the float off. Alleyoop

If I bend it out, wouldn't be out further?

NO the bottom will go in. In other words you want the float to move up more. The BOTTOM as you can see is OUT FURTHER than the top of the float and will shut off the FUEL SOONER and not let it fill up more. Alleyoop
