You go 1/8 back the other way and that is IT. Now if your RPMS went up so high that now the REAR WHEEL is spinning then your lower the RPMS USING THE IDLE SPEED SCREW down to 1800-2000 rpms wherever it idles the smoothest without the REAR WHEEL SPINNING. It may want to turn BUT VERY SLOWLY that is ok. Alleyoop

Well Alleyoop, Got my highest idle, but when I test drove the scoot, it is not shutting off, and it seem at first I have a good throttle, but I find myself at around 50pmh no more throttle, what is going on now? I'm thinking about redoing this process again, the first time I went clockwise 1/4 nothing, another 1/4 turn idle went down, but I forgot to read my paper, so I turned the other way until I got the highest idle that way and settled on that, maybe the first was the right one (confused).

Did you turn it 1/4 at a time and WAIT about 10 seconds before the next turn? You probably are on the RICH side now you went to far COUNTER CLOCKWISE. 1/4 turn to much makes a big difference. That is what I think you did FROM WHERE IT IS AT, JUST GIVE IT 1/4 TURN CLOCKWISE and ride it and see how it acts. Alleyoop

Ok Alleyoop, I'll try that (thanks) But if I had to re-do to get that highest RPM's would I have to turn the a/f back in or start right where i am.

Hi Alleyoop, Here is pic of fuel pump (it was already on scoot when I bought it) is hooked up right? looking at it, 10 o'clock vacuum line, 11 o'clock hose to carb, 1 o'clock gas hose from gas tank. Adjusted 1/4 turn leaner, didn't run any better, turn back 1/8 test drive shut off, took hose off pump and cranked it, gas came out squirting some, not alot. Attachments:

That is correct.
Ok take the vacuum line off the at the other end and take the fuel hose off the carb and suck on the vacuum hose and see if fuel comes out in a good amount. If not get a new pump. Alleyoop
