Thanks Luke for your input, I wasnt sure if there was going to be a big difference or not. I think I will like the more stability than I have on the two wheel. I like the two wheel but just think the trike would be safer. kalee

Well why go to a 150 if you're going to a trike? It seems like it would be some heavier and you'd want to stay at least at the same cc or go up. Here's a 300:
Or a 300 reverse?
Hey, here's one for you!
Seriously, I'd think twice about a 150 trike. Ask Alley, see what he says.

It all depends where your going to ride it and the roads speed limits that you will be traveling on.
Don't forget you have over 100lbs more to lug around over a 2 wheel scoot and that is without your butt on it. My Trike weighs in at 350 lbs and my butt is 180lbs.
If the speed limits are 55 your Trike better be able to do AT LEAST 60mph because you know NOBODY is doing 55 they are cranking at 60-65mph. If Speed limits are 45 you know people will be doing 50-55 mph so go by that. A 150 Trike out of the crate is only good for 50 and a little over, the 250s are good for 55 and a little over. The 300s are good for 60 and a little over. Now I am talking out of the crate and after they are broken in. If you put some minor mods without going into the motor you can get another 4-8 mph on your top end speed. Alleyoop

That is a neat three wheeler Honda has, I have never saw one like it. Thanks Alley & Bashan for your input. If I do get a 150cc trike I will have to get some info from Alley so I can do some minor mods. Alley could you tell me what all you have done to your trike to speed it up? kalee

Alleyoop, I hate to sound dumb but what does the PST 150H stand for on your trike. The 150 is 150cc, I have looked at several trike's and have not seen the pst or H.

The PST stands for the company that imports them by the hundreds it is a CANADIAN company. Pacific Rim Into'l in Toranto, THE "H" I have no idea, they name these things whatever they want. Mine was one of the first ones being sold in the US so that is why the name PST150H. Now at least they gave them names(HEHE). Here are the current mods on my Trike: Alleyoop

If you do get a 150 listen to Alley, he'll tell ya how ta do it up right. The 150's have a better horsepower to weight ratio. Plus They cost less than the 300's. I'm bettin' Alleys trike would give my stock magnum a good run for the money. Alley's trike weighs about 350 lbs and my magnum weight about 580 lbs. Roy

I have been told that the two wheels in front still have to balance like the two wheelers, where as the two wheels in back will stand by itself. Something to think about I guess,I think I would like the two wheels in back better, I know you would have to steer it like a tricycle no leaning.

your'e right kalee, i rode tested a freakin' Spyder and i didn't like the handling, it's like the beast wanna throw me out of the seat, shyet! the centrifugal force is just ridiculous, but on a straight ride it's awsome., turning feels really sh*t. spyder just freaks me out, and in ten minutes that i rode it,my lower back hurt, there's just nothing compare to my almighty morph, i'm serious.

A friends daughter and husband both have spyders and love them. They never rode untill recently either so they have nothing to compare the ride to. I have never rode a trike so I can only imagine what it would be like but to compare handling of one to a 2 wheel bike would not be fair. I imagine on a $25,000 spyder they have to have something going for them or they could not sell many. I do know the gas mileage is extremely poor though. But if you have the kind of money it takes to get a spyder who cares about a few extra bucks for fuel. john
