Been riding good.. Some hesitation lately..Well today started right up this morning.. Let it warm up like usual. I get on to ride and it stalls. Try to start it back up and gave me a hard time starting.. Finally get it going.. figure maybe low on gas. Get to the gas station, fill it up.. Same thing when try to start again.. ruuuu ruuuuu ruuuu . nothing. Try to start twist throttle and it starts. Drive a bit.. get to a point where I have to stop.. and its stalls.. and same thing over again.. Could it be the fuel pump?? Or fuel filter.. the smell of gas this morning was there. Any suggestions.

Classic case of tight valves, hard starting and dieing at low rpms and or not holding idle, Easier to start when cold. Alleyoop

Was hoping you all wouldn't say that.. was hoping it was something simple like the fuel filter. I took the seat off and you can smell gas... Rode it home tonight and it was hard... Every time I stopped, it stalled... Then tried to start.. nothing untill I twisted the throttle and it started.. once started it ran.. just stalled every time I stopped...
It has 2391 on it.. Don't think they were ever adjusted.. I remember Bashan saying that adjusting the Valves on the Fashion didn't make a difference....
Bashan HELLLLLPPPP Are there any videos or anything showing how to do this...

Hope it is the Vertical Helix those are easy to adjust because the adjustment are on the outside of the head on the right side of the motor. If so here is a VIDEO: Alleyoop

Did you try Seafoam yet? It almost sounds like a stuck float needle. Also check for vacuum leaks and a loose or cracked intake manifold.

Guess I will try the valve adjustment first.. Only problem I see is that the engine needs to be warm.. I can get it to stay running when its stopped not sure if it will get warm...
I hope its not a cracked manifold.. that would suck. I don't think its a vacuum leak this happened gradually .. little hesitation, then stalling..

That my friend is the OVERFLOW VENT hose it should be open. If fuel is coming out of there that means the FLOAT is stuck or something is not allowing the plunger to shut off the fuel from coming in once the bowl is full. You could try giving the carb bowl a little whack to see if it stops. But if it is coming out of there also check your Air Filter it probably is soaked with gas. You may have to take the carb off and check why it is NOT shutting off the fuel when the float rises. Alleyoop

Great.. new it couldn't be something easy as adjusting the valves...
Well gas is not ONLY coming out of that overflow.. ITS pouring out.. I will have to check the air filter .. time to take the scooter apart.. Yeah..
dam scooter.... Have to ask Bashan if there are videos showing why the float would be stuck or why its coming out of there.. Uggg was hoping this was going to be easy.. Doesn't seem like it..
