HI everybody. I want to get rid of that "RED" background dash light on my Roketa 249cc or Jonway YY250T. I can't find the darn thing. I've pulled 5 bulbs from the back of the dash and left them hanging there then started my bike and STILL THE RED DASH LIGHT REMAINS. Where is that little bastard. Is a RED LENS what I'm looking for..? Doses anyone know how I can change it..? I have Green and Amber T-10's just waiting to go in. HELP..............

I talked to a friend over the weekend who is an engineer for Harley Davidson at their Florida R&D facility. He was passing through and stopped in to shoot the bull. While checking out his bike I noticed his cool dash and asked him about your light problem. He said that they embed reflective agents in the glass to reflect whatever color they want the dash to be. So you're not crazy, there is no light that color, it's the glass making the color.

Also a red led is the same color as a blue one with no current in it. They have to be on to see color as a rule.

Yep, my Trike has the same instrument panel as his and around the instrument panel is a tube that is TINTED RED and that is why it shows up as RED. Now that would work great IF the DECALs where say WHITE background with white numbers.
At night it shows up good but in the daylight it is hard to read the SPEEDO and TACH.
