First my scoot is running great ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/3059616/images/io3qXvKuAKgoS3GBNHWG.gif) the only concerns I have is when I'm at stop light my scoot is surging forward like the clutch is not letting go ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/3059616/images/dfjqY_EkXQy5T3J77XO5.gif) Some time ago I did replace the contra spring in my clutch, recently sand papered the clutch pads, what would cause this? maybe the little clutch springs going bad or does my clutch need a good maintenance like taken apart and geased and if so what kind of gease is good ![???](//storage.proboards.com/3059616/images/uQfospbezE7IcMUG1AtY.gif)

My guess would be one of the clutch pad tensioner springs. If one of them breaks then that pad drags and the bike creeps. So yeah, time for a maintenance check for the clutch.

Thanks Bashan ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/3059616/images/ELWck45kIaBpPYtpvDIj.gif) That's what I thought ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/3059616/images/HJs2j2mwSBE_hvL4WD2S.gif) (when I sanded them about 2 weeks ago I didn't notice any broke, I check it out) not sure which springs to get, probably the low rpm's? (I think they are black)

Did you try turning your idle speed down a little?

Yes, check your idle rpms first, it could be idling a little to high. Alleyoop

the springs cut into the pot metel making the clutch engage too early. It is a Suck Azz design. ![](http://scooting.hostingsiteforfree.com/PhotosFORforum/headlightmod/clutchsucks.jpg) while in there service this. ![](http://scooting.hostingsiteforfree.com/PhotosFORforum/headlightmod/nowobble.jpg)

This morning I did turn the idle down a little, when I first start out my clutch is working good, it seems after I'm riding 5miles or more it does this, and not all the time.

I noticed today as I went scoot was running real good, even the clutch was working the way it should, (I tighten the intake clamp before I left) after about 13 mile, I notice the scoot surgibng or missing at stop light, I'm just wondering if that intake clamp working its way loose again and would effect the idle? Still looking for a good clamp.
