Welcome to the forum. How is the scoot running besides using a lot of gas? These little scoots are especially sensitive in two areas - valve adjustment and tire pressure. The valve adjustment can change quite a bit during the initial break in period. Incorrect valve gaps can cause drive-ability problems and in some cases stall the engine.
Running around with low pressure in one or two tires can really sap the power and hurt the performance and gas mileage. 49 cc's need all the help they can get.

its been running pretty wel for the most part. when i bought it they told me after 75km to change the oil to 10w-30, then when it hits 300km to switch to 10w-40 full synthetic. before i changed it to the full synthetic it was having a problem starting, i hit the electric start button and had to open the throttle all the way open to get it to fire up and then keep giving it gas for a moment to keep it started. after i changed to 10w-40 full synthetic i hit the elctric start button and have to open throttle about 1/4 open to get ti to fire up but still have to give it gas to not die on me. but once i do that it stays running and runs fine. but it still uses way to much gas.

Oy ! Have you checked your sparkplug tip color ?This can give you a heads up on what is happening fuelwise . It needs to be a nice tan to dark tan . If it is black , it may be running too rich , light tan or white , your running too lean . As mentioned early in this thread your valve gaps may also need to be adjusted. willc.

YO! I agree with the guys on the valve gap. If they haven't been set you need to get that off of the table. It's not that difficult and here is how you do it.
