Hello, the fuel gauge in my scooter JONWAY yy250tt does not work, even if the tank is full of petrol the pointer does not move, there is a way to tell if the problem is in the tank float or indicator of level?
Thank

Interesting post. A very similar post on a different forum but from a different poster.
I will repeat my experience on my daughters old car and my own scooter. On the old car it would never read above 1/4 full. I pulled the gauge and found the long wire to the float was hung up on the sender frame. Move float to where the wire was free and then it worked. On my scoot I pulled the float assembly off and there was no problem apparent, but it could happen.
On the scooter in the other forum post the person responded that it was the clip on the shaft for the float that was just a tad too tight. He said he had pulled it slightly back and that allowed the float to be free.
Obviously I can not see your problem but maybe pull the float assembly and see if it is too tight, broken, whatever. Are you sure it is correctly wired to the gauge? Sounds like a bit of time with the tools and disassembly is needed. .

It also can be a loose connection of one of the multiple connector wire plugs. Or bad crimp on it.
