You don't say what the scooter is, 2 stroke, 4 stroke, size of engine? gy6? before asking what is wrong, how about telling us what you have

Check the diaphgram it could have rips and or tears in the rubber and it will raise the needle out of the main jet so when you open the throttle it is sucking in nothing but air and it will bog and not go anywhere. Alleyoop

My bad!! Sorry!!!
It's an 08 Xingyue 150 GY6....1300 miles on it.....4 stroke....
I'll double check the diaphram and see what's going on. I had it out a few days ago and it looked fine but never hurts to double check.

Bumpity bump bump.......
Pulled the diaphram out and all is peachy in there....immaculate and no rips or tears.....only have three adjustments on the needle, was in the middle now I have the clip on the lowest setting to see if maybe can get something more from it.....but the bugs were eating me alive so I haven't tried retuning it yet. I at least got it to start right up and that was it.
But, what other suggestions would there be possibly?

After messing with the fuel needle...got about 40 almost out of it now but still bogging out....what else should I try?
It starts right up first try hot or cold....so pretty sure I got the carb set right. Thinking may just ride it and see if it'll work itself out...don't really need it to go over 30 for a lil while anyways.

Check the fuel filter also. Run a little Sea Foam in the gas.

I am picking up a couple filters first thing I can, have a pretty healthy dose of gumout carb and choke cleaner in the tank right now hoping to see if that will help out some. Will post back once I get some more info
