ok... i can do that... i have a local shop that will prolly do it.... with my cylinder/bike only having 1200 miles on it... i bet it is fine without this process... but if you think i need it... then i will do it...
If you can give me the exact point on the cylinder that needs it... i can take a pic and you can determine if i need it.. on the outside of the piston? i can still feel and see the groove pattern... little tiny boxes.... is that what u mean? thanks josh

The pattern in the cyl should be from top to bottom. I would still have a shop hone it for you. check end gaps. when breaking in accelerate hard to 4000 rpm then let off and coast to idle. repeat for 5 min then cool down completely, then longer intervals. always cool down completely. This is what the machine shop told me when I did the top end on my majesty. And don't let the oil in there too long either, change it.

i can still see the pattern inside the cylinder pretty well...
I was watching a video on how to change rings... they said something about #2 ring having a lip.. where it would push oil back down... my ring doesnt have a lip? is this normal for scoots?

Ok.. I got my circlips today... they are correct diameter.. but they are just slightly thicker... they do fit into the groove... but I cant get those suckers in for nothin! Rrrr
Edit:::::
I got it in.. one side tell I put the rings on..
Now can someone tell me which side goes up or down? I underdstand on the top ring the letters go up.. but how about the second ring? Mine does not have a lip...and maybe a quick how to on the spacing of the rings.. I know that they can't be in a line.. and I know they can't be over the holes from wrist pin... any other tips?

Get your meter out. Either starter solenoid is stuck on or the start switch is stuck in the on position.

Retrace everything you did. If it didn't do this before, then it is some thing you did. Take a couple deep breaths and have a couple of beers. Double check every thing and never give up. Starter connections? ?//
