HAHAHA, yea many will post things really cheap but then make up the money on shipping. So shop around for a cheaper dealer. Alleyoop

Got my rings and gaskets today.... now i am waiting on my exhaust gasket and cirlip...
Couple questions... just to make sure i ordered the correct things.
1.... are the circlips 17mm?
2.... is a all copper exhaust gasket ok? or should i add some liquid high temp gasket maker to it to make the seal 100%?

The copper exhaust gasket is fine, as for the circlips measure the opening on the piston. Alleyoop

Install the gaskets as they come. They are flat and the surfaces are machined to except the gasket as is. Just my opinion . No mess and no blow out.

Copper is great because it is malleable and will form to your head better. The last one I installed was stamped steel. I would take the copper over steel.

The cylinder, if you don't the rings won't seat.

When you look at a cyl that has been used the surface will be shiney. You normally scratch this up with a cyl hone in a cross hatch pattern. What this does is to wear in the rings and allow them to seal. In pinch a person could use sand paper but not recommended. I would recommend you take the cyl to a small engine shop or auto machine shop and have them hone it. It is a real simple thing to do, doesn't take long and probably is not going to cost a lot. this is a hone: www.harborfreight.com/4-inch-engine-cylinder-hone-97164.html there are other types too. Since you have to ask I would have a shop do it, then you will be sure it is right.
