hello everybody. my names Patrick. im from Michigan. just got me a new scooter. a Lintex 49cc. 139qmb motor. always liked things with engines on em. not new to motorcycles, got an old 1970 Suzuki TS90. don't ride it on the road though. my hobby (obsession?) is lanterns. got about 300 of em. looking forward to posting on this board. looks like a nice place! a few pics of the scooter:   |

The 139 QMB engine is a rugged, reliable unit. It was originally designed as an 80cc engine so it's under-stressed. Good luck with it and have fun.

Nice looking scooter.....enjoy it. Lanterns eh? Now that's one I never heard of. If you feel like it post some pics of your hobby over in "Pics & Vids". Don't worry about it not being scooter related, I know the head dude  . Welcome to the forum!

Yes those 139QMB are nice motors and like KZ said they are rugged little motors.

I have many old I believe to be RR lanterns with Red globes.
Any idea wat there worth Or i need to check a mfg?
