I have a problem finding the correct tires for my MC-13-250. The rear tire is a 120/90 10 tire, rated J for 62 mph, load capacity 661 lbs.. I searched for this and could not locate it anywhere on a web.. It is like Roketa quit making the MC-13-250. I bought a 120/90 10 but it was rated P for 75 mph and had a load capacity of 507 lbs.. P is good but 507 lbs is not to great. Scooter weighs 271 lbs, my weight is 185 lbs, 3 gallons of gas, quart of oil, antifreeze, my gear- excluding saddlebags weighs approx. 480 lbs. Getting close to max weight. The front tire is a 4.00 x 12 or mm 110/90 12 tire with J and 660 lbs load limit. But again can't find the tire. So I am thinking of buying 110/90 12 rated P for 93 mph and load capacity 613 lbs.. A person I spoke to only said it should work- my concern is SHOULD. The person stated the front tire at 613 should equal out the weight difference. Also I bought the tire off Amazon ( 8 month old tire) but a warning saying if load index or speed rating is not the same or greater, that this could be dangerous. Speed rating is above but load limit is below. Roketa sold my parts but not in the correct color- indicating they are getting no new parts in on the MC-13-250. Last time I ordered a tire, they sent me a 3 year old tire. Right now it is 6- almost 7 years old. It makes me fear ordering from Roketa, because they might send me a 5 year old tire. What are your thoughts on what I am saying? Attachments:

dennis kirk has a metzler rated 75mph and 661lbs in your size. I would believe most of the bigger motorcycle on line stores will have tires for that scooter. I hope you realize the load rating is split between front and rear so 2 of those tires would hold up around 1300 lbs.

And I have bought 8 tires there in the last few years. They have good prices and so do a lot of other places. And it sounds like Luke over paid again, My last set of tires were a lot less than that and were bigger sized than what a couch uses. And further the scooter doc has been trouble free for over a week.

Dunlop...? ha ha ha ha no wonder you trailer instead of riding. Those are the worst tires money can buy. Rock hard, no road grip, miserable ride. Years ago I bought a goldwing new that came with them. one week later I forced the dealer to change the front because it was bad. Got the same thing... another bad one. Finally went to an independent dealer and had both removed and replaced with decent tires, the dunlops still had the mold mark tits on them. The only people who like them are harley owners who don't lean far enough over to see how bad they are! Yea now I see why you got the trailer!

haha,, on the other thread you are praising dunlop tires, now you are maligning them just because i bought them...my old tires were dunlop, and they lasted for about 12k actual riding miles and still counting. bridgestones are the crappy ones

Show me where I have ever said one good word about dunlop. Have you ever checked the yamaha scooter forum? There isn"t one person there who likes them. I have personally rode 140 mph on battle ax tires so I kind of trust them too! I have hated dunlops since around 1982 or 83 when I bought a silverwing. The gold wing in 87 was the last straw. The reason they last is they are rock hard and can not stick to the road and give good traction.
