i put some duck tape over the hole in the airbox and it did help it stay running a little better. I'll adjust the A/F screw tomorrow with the tape on and see what I can do.

Ok, so i've made some progress, i hope. I readjusted the valves to .005 and it will now start without me putting my hand over the intake. It will almost immediately die after it starts. What would you suggest next, alley? Should i readjust one of the valves to compensate this? maybe lower one or raise one? Sorry if that's a silly question.

Turn the IDLE SCREW that is the one on the throttle side with the SPRING under it the one over the THROTTLE Control wheel that the throttle cable goes around and hooks up to. TURN that screw Clockwise about 1/8 of a turn to open the butterfly a little more. Alleyoop

Ok, so adjusting the idle screw makes little difference in how long it runs. It will start up, idle high and then die. i can keep it going a bit longer with some throttle but it still dies pretty quick.

Ok, just try cutting off some more air and you can lower the idle a little turn that idle screw Half COUNTER CLOCKWISE back so when it starts it does not idle so high. You will have to play with the taping of the Air Filter. All you can do Unless you just order a new Air Box or put on a cone filter that you can then tape off by just wrapping tape starting from the end of it till you can get the mixture right. She runs and rides! Alley, you were spot on! What I ended up doing was putting the foam back in the air box and then taped it. I slowly covered more foam with tape until she ran perfect! I'm going to order a new box tonight! Thanks so much! Going Riding now
