After taking the new 150 around town a few times in the past couple of days, I figured it was time to really get it out there like I intended when I bought it. I scooted easily through town before hitting the two lane, curvy roads that lead out into the farmlands. Easily getting up to 45mph, I decided to keep it steady for awhile. I zipped through the curves with leaves falling all around me. Then I would pop out of the shade into the areas full of farmers cutting and rolling hay. The smell of it was amazing as it drifted into my helmet. I passed a few guys on Honda motorcycles and to my surprise they gave me the wave, which I returned happily. My road led me to the tip top of a mountain, which looked down into a valley that the Clinch River runs through. I stopped here, took a picture, sat for awhile and enjoyed the scenery. Then it was back the way I came for some more fun!

Very nice. I'm glad to see you're enjoying the 150. They are a lot of fun. I had mine out for a brief 35 mile run the other day. The 150s embody the "Mystique" Harley owners crow about.

I'm enjoying it very much! Glad you are enjoying yours as well. There is just something great about this little bike that I can't put my finger on. They have something I just don't get when I'm riding my Honda or Yamaha.

It's great to give the scoot a nice run out into the country. That's generally always my choice. The scenery looks stunning in the states. Can't wait to visit some time.
Over here, we give other riders a nod of the head, rather than a wave.

Yeah, I love riding in country. The more curves the better! I'd love to visit the UK sometime, I've got a few friends that have moved here from there and their stories make me want to go more haha.

i'm going back to my passion...---> rib boating and fishing, but off course i won't leave scootering...they're equally fun to do. nice picture of those green trees, are they brearing edible fruits?? i wish they are mango trees,at least it's useful, but i think those trees are there to hold the earth surface from eroding due to flood...hmmm equally useful

Funny you should mention flood. That area down in the valley you can see in the pictures flooded and destroyed a whole town that used to be there. The movie "The river" with Mel Gibson was actually filmed down here and was sort of based on that. Fun, dumb, useless fact for you there. lol

There's just something very tranquil about riding out in the country in the fresh air.

but you can't barely see if the rider is nodding or not... ?? I suppose you could compare it to a nod of approval or acknowledgement, so the head is sort of tipped to the side as well as forward. It's pretty obvious when you're getting the nod so to speak.

I too enjoy riding the mountains on a 50cc, nice way to enjoy all the sites. 5600 miles on this one and still climbs 2% grades at 25 and steeper ones at 10-15 mph. Love the Mountains of Western Maryland. Attachments:

I had to upgrade to a 150 to enjoy the country roads around here. They are so curvy and people drive so fast, I would just be asking for it on a 50cc. I loved my 50cc it just wasn't practical here.
