About 3/4 down the page... there are 7 scooters for sale... I am thinking about bidding on basically all of these with a max of 300-400 each... depending on which one it is...

If you notice... most have 1000 miles or less... so basically brand new... I know they are older in age 2007 2008 2010.. but only having a few miles... they gotta be worth something right

Can anyone tell me why I shouldnt make an investment.. wait tell spring.. and try to sell em? Or keep a few.. I know i will be riding scoots tell I die...

I've got a 50cc tng venice in the garage i'm fixing up to sell next spring. I'd say go for it, man. Just make sure to keep them winterized until spring, of course.

I think if I were your age and it didn't hurt to bend and get down on knees so much I would get a trailer load of them and start building some frankenscoots. I could even see a twin engine trike, since they free wheel at below maybe 2000 rpm you could kill one engine around town and when you want more, just crank up number 2. A true retro type scooter (40's - 50's) with very little plastic, a flat floor, a tub to cover engine compartment that tips off for service. Only your wildest imagination to guide you. Have at it.

Ok.. I went and looked... they aren't in too bad of condition... all of them have dead batteries.. I need to take a spare battery up and try to start em...

The 250's.. don't have windshields! Bum deal.. but they aren't too much...

jenny, be sure you have the time, determination and tremendous amount of patience to fix it....remember that the problem with used old chinese scooters is that mechanical issues comes one after the other, you might get to fix one problem today but come next week a new and even worse problem arises. and so on and so forth.... buying in an auction is a blind shot,you can get the best or the WORST. ..auctioners won't even let you test it before buying it..,what if it has zero compression or shot stator? only yahweh knows.

in other words: even if you succeed or fail, he doesn't care ,it's not his money anyway...
i can tell that he is 90% telling you to buy it and dont care if it runs or not or if it will end up in the garage to collect dust and cub webs...new home for the spiders...

thanks for listening to my advice, im so happy, i saved another soul from making a big mistake and making a bad decision. had you bought that scooter you would have been in the garage right now and trying to figure why is it not running, your hair must be all stretched up like albert einstein because of anger hahaha!

I would of passed as well. Might of been an easy fix on some and then again maybe not.
