:'(Well folks through my scooter was running like a dream which in some ways it is but it will keep dying on me can go awhile then its just dies like it ran out of gas I changed the original fuel filter (will see if I can post jpegs for all questions) tried to find out what could be causing it by looking at the CFMOTO 172mm Engine Service Manual but pictures are to black if this is the vacuum type carburetor what could be causing the shut down by the way sometimes after it shut down it will start right up and run maybe 3 min or longer before it dies again please keep in mind I just got this scooter new one week today so far got almost 10 miles on it don’t really want to take a chance running it down the highway for fear of dieing on me and no way to get it back home with me being disable with heart failure also how in the world does the remote control work also added that fuel mixture you see to almost forgot how much voltage should my volt meter read with engine running and all lights on Thanks again for the great help you all have given s895.photobucket.com/user/Robertban235/library/Scooter%20Pictures

The valves might need to be adjusted. If they are too tight, once the engine warms up the valve don't seat properly and compression is lost. I know your scooter is new but sometimes the valves need to be adjusted right out of the box. The first video in this link details how to adjust the valves for your engine. scooterdoc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=videos&action=display&thread=4731

You know what I would do first? Put in a half bottle of fuel system cleaner in the gas tank (STP works best) put the bike up on the center stand and start it. Then just let it sit for a while running, like 10 minutes, but watch the temperature gauge. Every so often hit the throttle and see if it keeps running.
I had the same thing on my flood damaged Honda and it cured its tendency to die on me. It also boiled over without any harm, which is why I say watch the temperature gauge.

Gateskeeper From the picture I’ve seen my engine is the Honda Helix is those adjustments hard to get to? I notice in the video you turned one to the left and the other to the right until the valves quit clattering and is there a way to test the engine before I put it all back to together I sure want to get this dang thing running like it should
kz1000st I added 1½ oz STA-BTL fuel stabilizer when I put in the 92 octane unleaded fuel & filter I don’t know for sure if it would work the same as the STP gas treatment also the engine seems to run nice untill it gets warm (just a little always past the ½way mark on the temp gauge) when the shutting down begins. Its beginning sound like what Gatekeeper said if I’m not mistaking I believe loss of compression is like running out of fuel to and after it set awhile it will start running again

The CN 250 isn't like the Linhai 257. The rule of thumb is generally that you adjust the valves when they start to rattle. It doesn't appear that you have enough miles for valve trouble based on this.
I just got this scooter new one week today so far got almost 10 miles on it
I'm not a fan of Sta-bil. So I'm guessing it gummed up in the carb and you're having trouble when the enrichening circuit closes. You may also have a balky CDI since the trouble starts when warm. Try the valve adjustment, I may be wrong, but keep an open mind about the carb and CDI.

Valves do not rattle unless they get loose, it is the opposite they get real quiet because they get tight and do not seal therefore your motor is loosing compression and are hard to start and once the motor gets hot the motor will not hold low rpms and when coming to stops they want to die unless you keep up the rpms. You should be able to access the valve adjusters via a panel under the seat. It's the same panel you take off to access the spark plug.
As for the warranty, it all depends on who you bought it from. For some it will and for some it won't. You'll have to read the fine print.

Well looked at your Carb area and you have the HELIX VERTICAL motor which the valve adjustment will be on the OUTSIDE of the Valve Cover. Before you loosen the screw to each adjuster MARK where each adjuster is set at before you loosen the adjusters. As soon as you loosen the bolt the adjuster will fall toward fully open(MORE GAP). Since you know they are TIGHT after you adjust them the mark should end up a little more toward the way the adjuster fell(little looser from the mark you put on). Alleyoop

The valves are very easy to adjust and be sure not to over tight the adjuster bolts when done. You should hear just a little tap when right...
