Where do I get a lightweight muffler for my Roketa 250 MC-54T? I'm running a straight pipe now because the stock one was too heavy and kept falling off even after welding it on. Flippin chino junk steel. Pardon my aggravation...

They shake and fall off because they are not supported. The rear of the muffler has to have a decent mount. Yes they are way too heavy also. I used a briggs on my old 150 and it was on there for good and never shook. Any movement at all means it will break the pipe and fall off. Alley uses a super trap on his trike. Light weight and secure mounting is the key.

I don't understand the "Not Supported" part. From what I've seen both the Linhai and Honda clone mufflers are bolted to the swingarm bracket in four places. Except for the 150s with a 250 engine stuffed in most 250s are set up that way. My Fashion, and the Big Ruckus, were bolted on with four bolts.

On the supertrapp, they are Universal you get the length of your current one and the size of you inlet of the Header Pipe to fit into the muffler. You can check out all of their mufflers and if you scroll down they usually have videos of some bikes with it on and how they sound. Alleyoop

I had the same problem with my YY250T. Parts falling off the muffler, welds cracking, etc., so I did what you did- made me a drag pipe!. Plenty loud, but made a very noticeable difference in power/top speed. Somehow, it didn't have the same "cool factor" as my Harley with drag pipes, so I made a bottle-type muffler of my own design that is only a little louder than stock but flows like a straight pipe.
I was looking for slip-ons for my sporty and came across some at JC Whitney that were relatively cheap($50-$75) and one in particular that might work on my Jonway. It is a megaphone style, universal fit, with adapters for pipe from 1-3/8 to 1-3/4" so it might be fairly easy to adapt to these bikes. I saved a link to it on my computer at work, so if I get to the office Monday, I will post it here.
